The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot for the Manhattan 68th AD Special Election on January 18, 2022 via the online portal has expired. You may still apply for an absentee ballot in-person at your local county board of elections office.

The last day to apply in-person is January 17, 2022.


Request Absentee Ballot

If you are affected by COVID-19 and/or the potential of contracting the virus, please check the box for "Temporary Illness" on the application. The definition has been temporarily expanded to include "a risk of contracting or spreading a disease" such as COVID-19.


Request Accessible Ballot

If you are visually impaired or have a disability that requires you to use an accessible version of the absentee ballot that can be read by a screen reader, you may request an accesible ballot. If you cannot affirm that you are visually impaired or otherwise disabled, you must request a regular absentee ballot.


Track Absentee Ballot

This website can be used to check the status of your Absentee Ballot Application and to Track your Ballot, only after you have submitted an Application. Data in the system updates every 24 hours. Applications may take up to 72 hours to enter the tracking system.
